Q&A
Where are you from in Canada? The beauteous province of Saskatchewan.  My dad was an RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) – a Mountie – so we moved a lot.  But I mostly lived in Saskatoon and Regina.  And, of course, Emma Lake, my fav place.

What are your hobbies?  I love walking/hiking, riding my bike, reading and I also do pelican rescue.

What’s that? Since Santa Barbara is right along the ocean, there are injured, oiled and sick seabirds in the area.  I volunteer at the Wildlife Care Network at the seabird pond.  We feed and rehabilitate pelicans, grebes, murs, seagulls, loons (the feathered kind) and many other birds like ducks and geese.  It’s such a privilege to do this.  The birds are amazing and beautiful and fragile – just like the ecosystem.  And it’s always an adventure!

What’s your favorite food? I always loved lasagna, just like Garfield.  I think I wanted to be him growing up.  But now I love so many kinds of foods it’s hard to pick one.  Okay, French fries.  Does candy count?

Where would you like to go that you haven’t been to?  Hawaii!  Big dream of mine.  Some day.

Favorite color?  Love fuchsia – as you can see.  Have always loved blue, too.  Oh, and maroon – big fan of maroon.  What about you?

I’m asking the questions.  Oops, sorry.
