Completed Work: THAT OTHER PLACE
 
Mini-synopsis:
After two bouts with cancer Sarah Godwin wants to die; at least she thinks she does.  She’s tired of people telling her to be brave and keep fighting.  Now, after brain surgery, 12-year-old Sarah drifts into a coma.  She falls deep into a dream and finds herself far away, transported to a medieval time.  A hooded stranger gives her three mysterious artifacts and a mission:  she must deliver a coin, a cross and a key to a monastery.  Lives depend upon her success.

Very Mini-Synopsis:
Genna Ann Siss decides that she herself will be the subject of her 7th grade extra-credit science experiment. She is determined to prove that she loves science as a result of her environment, not because her biological father was a scientist.  Genna doesn’t want to be anything like her Bio-Dad.  He left after her twin brother died at birth.
